Community Choice Credit Union announced today that Rodger Rowland has been appointed Vice President of Retail Delivery. In this position, Rowland will be responsible for leading the sales and service development initiatives for the Credit Union and its 15 member centers.

With a lack of patches and updates, IE 7 and 8 no longer provide adequate safety and security to users. That’s why beginning on Monday, July 11, e-Banking will no longer be accessible from IE 7 or 8.
Community Choice Credit Union is coming to Shelby Township, adding a new location at 14965 23 Mile Road to provide greater convenience and access to the 1,300 members who live and work in the area. This will be the sixteenth location for the Credit Union, and is scheduled to open in fall 2016.
As part of the Community Choice Foundation Scholarship Program, 20 high school seniors across the state of Michigan won $5,000 scholarships — totaling $100,000 — for pledging to attend college in Michigan and committing to giving back to the state by building their careers here.
Community Choice Credit Union is helping prepare teens for financially fit futures, hosting a financial reality fair for Lincoln Park High School students on May 24, 2016 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
“Learning how to manage money and life on a budget is an important life skill for everyone to know,” said Crystal Lewis, financial education and community outreach coordinator of Community Choice Credit Union. “The Financial Reality Fair allows teens to actively discover for themselves the choices that will affect their financial future as they make decisions on expenditures while balancing their budgets.”
Last weekend a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Equador’s northern coast and the aftershocks continue to shock the region. The result—hundreds of lives lost. According to Defense Minister Ricardo Patino, “This is Equador’s deadliest earthquake since 1987, and it is expected to take years to recover.” In addition, systematic processes for livelihood were brought to a halt. Payments systems through credit unions provide financial resources for many citizens and as a result of the tragedy, 26 credit unions and their 252,343 members were affected.
